Rub a turkey breast with olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper. Roast until cooked through and let it rest before slicing.

Roasted green beans with almonds

Toss green beans with olive oil and salt. Roast until crisp at the edges, then top with toasted sliced almonds and a squeeze of lemon.

Cauliflower and potato mash

Boil equal parts cauliflower and potatoes until soft. Mash with a little butter, garlic and chives.

Brussels sprouts with orange

Halve the sprouts, roast with olive oil, then toss with orange zest and a little juice.

Homemade cranberry sauce with less sugar

Simmer fresh cranberries with orange juice, zest and cinnamon. Sweeten to taste with less sugar than the usual recipe, or a sweetener you like.

Crustless pumpkin custard

Whisk pumpkin puree, eggs, milk, pumpkin pie spice and a little sweetener. Bake in small ramekins. No crust needed.
